Elevator Art is a series of 3 art works placed in the public space at three different locations in the Dorcol Municipality. They are located in the foyers of the buildings in Solunska 36, Dubrovacka 24 and Dunavski kej 18.
There is nothing one can not do.
What one can not do, one forgets.
The sentence which appears on each art peace is a link between art works. This is artistic intervention made over images, canvas voted by the building residents. The phrase came out as a result of numerous interviews and conversations with building residents, where the widespread need for evoking the image of the birth place or a place of residence, was recognized.
The works are result of cooperation efforts and partnerships developed between author and residents of different buildings, as well as the different building representatives among them selves.
Communicational infrastructures of a residential quarter / community of residents were used as a project media.
The art work in Dunavski kej 18 was printed twice.
